He trained and worked in accounting firms in Sri Lanka and moved to the commercial sector.
Priyan worked his way up through a number of accounting & management roles before being appointed the Finance Director of two large public companies. His work experience gave him valuable insights to the practicalities of running diverse businesses
He incorporated RIGHTCLICKACCOUNTANTS Ltd. (Formerly AJCS Ltd) five years ago to move back to public practice accounting, as he felt his training as an accountant combined with his commercial experience would be beneficial to SME (small and medium sized entities) clients. These clients often seek methods to improve efficiency and productivity, but are short of time to study and implement strategic changes.
In the commercial sector, Priyan has had positive outcomes in low cost & practical business process improvements. He firmly believes that efficiencies and improvements are not necessarily technologically or capital driven. His experience has been that business process improvements bring more cost savings and efficiencies than the mere upgrading of computers or software for SME’s.
In serving individual clients, his up-to-date knowledge of accounting, taxation, computer software and practical approach to accounting problems have enabled clients to improve their business results. His friendly nature and empathy to clients’ concerns have also helped him being well received by clients

Ako had been working in the field of education for a long time; her positions included a high school English teacher (in Japan), Japanese language instructor / lecturer (in Japan, Sri Lanka & NZ) at tertiary educational institutions, and a marketing role in a private tertiary education provider in NZ.
When RIGHT CLICK ACCOUNTANTS Ltd. (formerly AJCS) was founded, Ako decided to switch careers to accounting in order to support her husband Priyan, and also to be more flexibly available for the children.
Ako has been enjoying her new challenges in the field of accounting very much, living up to her motto of “Life is a continuous process of learning”.
